Job summary

ShaleStone, Inc. in Colorado is seeking a dependable Fabricator to read drawings, cut, weld, and assemble metal components safely and efficiently. You will operate shop tools and fabrication equipment, inspect finished work, and maintain a clean, organized workspace.

The role requires basic blueprint reading, measuring, and a commitment to quality, with the ability to work independently or in a team, and to lift up to 50 pounds as needed.

Qualifications

  • Previous fabrication or metalworking experience preferred.
  • Ability to read basic blueprints and use measuring tools.
  • Welding experience is a plus.
  • Ability to safely operate shop tools and equipment.
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
  • Reliable attendance and a positive attitude.
  • Ability to lift and move materials as required.

About the Position

We are looking for a dependable and skilled Fabricator to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience reading drawings and measurements, operating fabrication equipment, and producing high-quality parts and assemblies safely and efficiently.

Responsibilities

  • Operate hand tools, power tools, and fabrication equipment.

Physical Requirements and Working Conditions
  • Physical requirements include standing for extended periods of time, stair and ladder climbing, routinely lifting up to 50 pounds, and heavy cleanup work of an industrial site.
  • Protective equipment (PPE) must be worn in the performance of some duties such as hard hats, safety glasses, air masks, ear protection, chemical suite, hot gloves, and high voltage protective equipment, etc.
