Banner Fire Equipment in Roxana, IL is seeking an experienced Fabricator to upfit and build emergency-vehicle equipment. You will weld aluminum and steel, read build sheets, and wire 12V systems for pumps, lighting, and chargers.

The role involves assembling components, testing for safety, and ensuring customer specifications are met. Ideal candidates have MIG/TIG welding skills, 3+ years in upfitting or emergency vehicles, and hands-on electrical experience.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required; welding or fabrication training preferred.
• 3+ years fabrication experience in emergency vehicles or upfitting preferred.
• Proficient MIG and TIG welding on aluminum; steel fabrication a plus.
• Hands-on 12V/DC electrical experience with wiring and terminations.

Responsabilités

• Fabricate, assemble, and upfit fire and rescue apparatus per specs.
• MIG and TIG weld aluminum and steel for components.
• Run, route, and terminate 12V wiring for lighting and chargers.
• Install pumps, tanks, reels, shelves, and cab accessories.
• Read blueprints and build sheets; coordinate with shop team.
• Inspect and document work for quality and safety.
