Job summary

The Prestwick Group in Sussex, WI, is hiring for a first shift position to operate woodworking machinery and cut high-quality furnishings. You will work with a team to meet KPIs and safety standards, pulling parts, reading drawings, and maintaining equipment.

Ideal candidates read tape measures, understand BOMs, communicate clearly, and can operate table saws, drill presses, and shapers. Physical work includes lifting up to 50 pounds and standing for long periods.

Responsibilities

• Review provided information, print, pull correct parts, and machine parts to length per requirements.

• Pursue opportunities to improve job knowledge and skills.
• Follow all safety rules and company policies; assist other departments as needed.

Job DetailsJob Location: The Prestwick Group - Sussex, WI 53089Salary Range: $22.50 HourlyJob Shift: First ShiftPurpose of Position: To work with a team using machinery and other tools to cut high-quality furnishings while helping achieve company goals and KPIs.

Duties and Responsibilities

• Reviews provided information and prints and pull correct parts, cuts to length, and machines parts per requirements using the necessary/established steps.
• Maintains work area and organizes and puts away tools, supplies, and materials in the assigned locations.
• Communicate with leadership and other team members regarding problems, concerns, status, and improvement ideas.
• Seeks to improve job knowledge.
• Follows all safety requirements, work rules, and company policies.
• Assists in all other operations departments as required.
