Job summary

Snelling Staffing is hiring a Fabricator in Louisville, KY, to join a growing manufacturing team. Work Mon-Thu, 6:00 a.m. - 4:30 p.m. with a pay rate of $24.00/hour and temp-to-hire potential. The role involves fabricating metal components and using various equipment to meet quality standards.

You will read blueprints, set up and operate equipment, and perform quality inspections as part of a collaborative, safety-conscious shop floor.

Qualifications

• Fabrication experience with metal components.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints and engineering drawings.
• Experience setting up and operating fabrication equipment.
• Ability to perform quality inspections on finished products.
• Comfort with using hand and power tools.

Responsibilities

• Fabricate metal components using lasers, water jets, press brakes, plate rollers, saws, grinders, pipe benders, and other fabrication equipment.
• Read and interpret blueprints, engineering drawings, and work orders.
• Set up and operate fabrication equipment while changing tooling as needed.
• Perform quality inspections to ensure finished products meet specifications.
• Use hand tools, power tools, hoists, fixtures, etc.
