Job summary

Alliance Glass & Mirror is seeking skilled fabricators to join our shop team in Keller, TX. You will fabricate commercial aluminum storefronts, curtain walls, window walls, doors, and frames, reading shop drawings and cut lists to ensure precise results.

Responsibilities include measuring, cutting, drilling, and assembling components, operating shop equipment safely, and maintaining a clean, organized workspace.

Qualifications

• Fabricate commercial aluminum storefronts, curtain walls, doors, and frames.
• Read shop drawings, fabrication sheets, cut lists, and measurements.
• Accurately measure, cut, drill, notch, machine, and assemble aluminum components.
• Operate saws, drills, punches, and other shop equipment.
• Use hand tools and power tools safely and correctly.

• Install door hardware and glass into doors when required.
• Inspect completed work for proper dimensions, finish, and quality.
• Receive, organize, stage, and load materials.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area.
• Assist with general shop duties as workload requires.

Commercial glazing or aluminum fabrication experience is preferred, but we are willing to consider mechanically inclined candidates who are dependable and ready to learn.

Primary Responsibilities:

• Fabricate commercial aluminum storefront, curtain wall, window wall, doors, and frames
• Read shop drawings, fabrication sheets, cut lists, and measurements
• Accurately measure, cut, drill, notch, machine, and assemble aluminum components
• Operate saws, drills, punches, and other shop equipment
• Use hand tools and power tools safely and correctly
• Install door hardware and glass into doors when required
• Inspect completed work for proper dimensions, finish, and overall quality
• Receive, organize, stage, and load materials
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area

Preferred Qualifications:

• Commercial glass or aluminum fabrication experience
• Ability to accurately read a tape measure, including fractions
• Ability to understand drawings, dimensions, and written fabrication instructions
• Experience using shop equipment, hand tools, and power tools
• Strong attention to detail
• Dependable attendance and reliable transportation
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Willingness to learn and follow established shop procedures
• Ability to stand for extended periods and safely lift and handle shop materials
