Job summary

Core & Main, a leading distributor in water infrastructure, is seeking hands-on team players for a shop-floor role in the Houston area. You will operate hand tools, perform cutting, threading and grooving tasks, and follow precise instructions to meet specifications.

Be prepared for a loud, variable-temperature environment and occasional lifting up to 50 pounds while maintaining safety and quality standards.

Qualifications

• Metal work experience preferred.
• Experience with fabrication shop equipment preferred.

Responsibilities

• Operate hand tools to perform cutting, threading and grooving tasks.
• Follow written instructions to ensure finished parts meet specifications.
• Maintain quality and safety standards in an industrial environment.
• Accurately measure materials and parts for precise fabrication.
• Assist with set-up and operation of lift equipment and handle lifting up to 50 pounds.
