Job summary

Sewer Equipment in Dixon, IL is seeking a dependable fabricator to assemble structural metal products. You will read blueprints and schematics, operate band saws, mills, drills, grinders, and forming equipment, and help ensure projects meet scope and quality.

Qualifications

• Ability to read a tape measure and interpret blueprint, schematics and work instruction diagrams.
• Excellent ability to read and listen to assignments given in a variety of forms.
• Basic understanding of mathematics as related to fabrication assignments.
• 1 year experience fabricating.

Responsibilities

• Operate band saws, mills, drills, grinding and forming/steel processing equipment.
• Maintain a safe, clean working environment by complying with procedures, rules and regulations.
• Operate forklift and overhead crane.
• Ensure all equipment is properly set up and maintained.

About the Role

We are looking for someone that can assemble structural metal products using a large variety of tools and machines. You will interpret blueprints, drawings and other written/verbal instructions and then weigh in on project scope and requirements. Responsibilities

• Must be able to operate, band saws, mills, drills, grinding and forming/steel processing equipment
• Maintains a safe clean working environment by complying with procedures, rules and regulations
• Operate forklift and overhead crane
• Ensure all equipment is properly setup and maintained

Location & Commitments

• Permanent full-time role based in Dixon, IL

Benefits Include

• Pay Range of $18.33 - $23.96 depending on experience
• Productivity Bonus, paid quarterly. Average 2025 payout was $7/hour. Payouts are based on overall company profitability, and attendance

Education and Experience:

• 1 year experience fabricating.

• Must have enough manual dexterity and stability as required for precision work.
