Job summary

Reinke Manufacturing is seeking a Fabricator to operate metal fabrication equipment and produce components for center pivot irrigation products. You will read blueprints, use measuring tools, and follow safety guidelines to ensure quality output.

Responsibilities include running presses, shears, benders, saws, grinders, and drill presses, while maintaining attendance and accuracy in data collection. forklift operation is required and a forklift license is preferred.

Qualifications

• Experience operating fabrication equipment safely and efficiently.
• Ability to read and understand blueprints and engineering schematics.
• Proficiency with measuring tools (tapes, calipers).
• Demonstrates proficiency on fabrication equipment after training.
• Maintain good attendance and punctuality.

Job description

The purpose of the Fabricator position is to operate and produce metal component parts used in the manufacture of center pivot irrigation products. Examples of equipment used by the fabricator would be presses, shears, benders, saws, pedestal grinders, and drill presses.Upon training completion, must be able to demonstrate proficiency on various types of fabrication equipment while maintaining output and quality.Must be able to use hand and power tools correctly.As required, must be able to run a forklift and secure a forklift license.Must be familiar and cognizant of safety guidelines throughout the company.Must maintain a good attendance and punctuality record.Must be able to gather and record statistical data accurately.Must be able to demonstrate an understanding and use of measuring equipment i.e. measuring tapes, calipers, etc.Must be able to demonstrate the ability to read and understand blueprints, blueprint symbols, and Engineering schematics as applicable.
