Job summary

Gradian is seeking a Fabricator to produce metal and foam components for commercial HVAC units. You will operate punch press, Mazak laser, press brake, and foam press, while reading drawings and maintaining quality records.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; technical training in metal fabrication preferred.
• 1–3 years of fabrication/manufacturing experience preferred; HVAC experience is a plus.
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and bend charts.
• Lift up to 50 lbs; comfortable in a manufacturing environment with noise, heat, and machinery.

Responsibilities

• Operate fabrication equipment including punch press, Mazak laser, press brake, and foam press as assigned.
• Perform foam preparation tasks such as cutting, shaping, and applying adhesives.
• Read and interpret engineering drawings, blueprints, and work instructions.
• Conduct in-process inspections using calipers, micrometers, and gauges to verify dimensions.
• Maintain documentation of production output and quality checks.

While there are dedicated teams for specific tasks—such as punch press, Mazak laser, press brake, foam press, foam preparation, and material handling—employees in this role may be assigned to any area based on production requirements.
