Job summary

ISCO Industries fabricates and assembles polyethylene pipe to meet customer specifications, including fittings, valves, T's, Y's and related structures. You will read blueprints, follow strict quality procedures, pull materials from inventory, and operate fusion equipment while maintaining a safe, organized work area.

The role requires basic computer skills, the ability to lift up to 40 lbs, and standing for long periods.

Qualifications

• Read and interpret blueprints and tickets to determine materials and tools.

• Maintain accurate records of materials used on tickets.
• Keep work area clean and follow safety procedures.
• Operate fusion and fast fusion equipment, cranes and forklifts.

• Lift up to 40 lbs and stand for long periods of time.

Responsibilities

Description

Fabricators are responsible for fabricating and assembling polyethylene pipe to create a variety of customized structures such as: fittings, valves, T's, Y's, elbows, aqua shields, geothermal vaults, manholes, dual containment units, pumps, gas aeration lines and similar structures that meet customer specifications by performing the following duties:

• Read and interpret blueprints, product drawings and pic ticket orders to determine materials, tools and equipment needed to complete work
• Follows quality control procedures to ensure that the assembled, fabricated product meets customer specifications
• Upholds accurate records of materials used on “ticket”; locates and pulls required materials from inventory
• Maintains clean work area and equipment; following safety procedures concerning use of equipment and materials to maintain safe working conditions
• Operates ISCO's fusion and fast fusion equipment, cranes and forklifts
• Utilizes a variety of hand tools, saws and cutting equipment and performs other related duties as assigned
• Basic computer skills
• Must be able to lift up to 40lbs on a regular basis and stand for long periods of time
