Job summary

Ninth Inning is seeking a fabrication team member to join our Production group in Stayton, OR. You will fabricate, position, align, and fit components, using blueprints and specifications to deliver quality work safely and efficiently.

This hands-on role rewards individuals with welding or fabrication experience or a strong interest in developing those skills. You will work on-site with a team focused on accuracy, safety, and continuous improvement, while staying active throughout the day.

Qualifications

• Experience reading fabrication drawings or blueprints is valuable.
• Attention to detail and safe, efficient work habits are essential.
• Welding and fabrication experience or a willingness to learn are required or encouraged.

Responsibilities

• Fabricate, position, align, and fit project components using blueprints, sketches, drawings, and specifications.
• Perform steel fabrication and welding work based on training and experience.
• Work with fabrication tools and equipment including grinders, band saws, drills, shears, welders, laser cutters, press brakes, CNC equipment, and cranes.
• Produce work that meets established quality standards and minimize waste and rework.
• Keep the work area clean, organized, and safe and store tools properly.
• Participate in training, cross-training, and skill development.
• Work with your team to support safe, efficient production and continuous improvement.
