MEI Industrial Solutions in Southbridge, MA seeks a Fabrication/Welding Foreman to lead from the front on field and in‑shop projects. This hands‑on leadership role requires strong welding/fabrication expertise, blueprints literacy, and the ability to drive quality, safety, and on‑time delivery with your team.

You'll plan daily operations, mentor crews, coordinate with project managers and customers, and troubleshoot issues to keep projects on track in a fast‑paced industrial environment.

Qualificações

• 3+ years of experience as a Foreman, Supervisor, or Lead in welding/fabrication.
• Strong knowledge of MIG, TIG, Stick, or Flux-Cored welding.
• Ability to read blueprints and drawings.
• Proven experience leading crews and managing field or shop work.
• Hands-on experience with fabrication, installation, or industrial work in the metal industry.
• Strong communication and leadership skills.

Key Responsibilities

Required Qualifications

Preferred Qualifications

• AWS certification or similar credentials
• OSHA 10/30 certification
• Experience with rigging, machinery movement, or industrial installation
• Background in structural steel, manufacturing, or heavy fabrication

Physical Requirements

• Ability to stand, walk, climb, and lift up to 50 lbs
• Comfortable working in shop or outdoor environments in varying conditions
• Ability to operate tools, welding equipment, and machinery safely
• Combination of shop and field work
• Physical, active role (lifting, climbing, equipment use)
• Exposure to industrial conditions and outdoor environments as needed
