Job summary
Premier Truck Sales & Rental, Inc. is seeking a Welder / Fabricator to join our expanding Fabrication Division. The role focuses on modifying and installing Roll-Off Hoist and Tarper Systems on Kenworth chassis.
Candidates should be skilled in layout, fabrication, hydraulic, mechanical, and electrical installations, and comfortable using an overhead crane, tow motor, and power tools. GMAW welding up to 3/4 inch steel with gas-shielded flux-core wire is required; welding will include horizontal,
Qualifications
- Experience in welding and fabrication for roll-off hoist systems.
- Ability to read blueprints/layouts and install hydraulic/mechanical components.
- Knowledge of GMAW and flux-core welding up to 3/4 inch steel.
- Experience with overhead crane and power tools.
- Day shift; no weekends.
Responsibilities
- Modify and install Roll-Off Hoist and Tarper Systems on Kenworth chassis.
- Perform horizontal, vertical, and overhead welding out of position.
- Operate overhead crane and tow motor during fabrication.
- Work with hydraulic, mechanical, and electrical installations as required.
