Job summary

Darling Ingredients Inc. is seeking a Welder for fabrication and welding using MIG, TIG, and Stick processes in line with engineering drawings and specs. You will interpret drawings, select filler materials, and ensure quality welds in a metal fabrication shop.

Responsibilities include preparing and fitting parts, reading drawings, maintaining safety, and supporting continuous operations in a plant environment. Prior welding experience required; high school diploma or GED preferred.

• Minimum of one year welding experience.
• Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings.

Responsibilities

• Prepare, cut, grind, and fit materials for welding according to drawings.
• Perform MIG, TIG, and Stick welding per procedures.
• Produce quality welds meeting specifications and standards.
• Read and interpret engineering drawings and welding instructions.
• Use measuring/inspection instruments to verify layout and completed work.
• Maintain a safe, clean work area and follow safety policies.
