Job summary

Novolex Yakima is hiring a Fabricator to design, fabricate, modify, and install equipment, tooling, and guards across the manufacturing facility. You will support production, maintenance, safety, and continuous improvement efforts by delivering high-quality fabricated components that enhance equipment reliability and safety.

The role requires fabrication experience and blueprint literacy, with the ability to operate welding and cutting machines and read mechanical drawings.

Qualifications

• Fabrication experience required.
• Mechanic experience required.
• HS diploma or GED; welding or fabrication certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Follow safety policies, procedures, and practices.
• Read and interpret blueprints, work orders, mechanical drawings, and parts manuals.
• Operate shop machines: arc, MIG, TIG welders; cutting torch; saws; presses; grinders.
• Fabricate parts and equipment from stock; repair and fabricate replacement parts.
• Install fabricated components and verify fit, function, and safety.
• Collaborate with maintenance, engineering, production, and safety teams.
