Eaton’s Fibrebond team in Minden, LA is seeking a Metal Fabrication Technician to support fabrication and welding operations. You will read MF/MFP work orders, cut, shape, and finish materials, and ensure parts are staged for downstream processing while upholding safety and quality standards.

Responsibilities include operating saws, layout and drill per prints, finish parts with grinders and deburr edges, assist welders, document work orders, and maintain a clean workspace.

Qualificações

• High School Diploma or GED or equivalent required.
• Experience reading tape measures, work orders or blueprints preferred.
• Experience using hand and power tools.
• Ability to read and interpret prints and specifications.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work in seasonal outdoor conditions.

Responsabilidades

• Read and interpret MF and MFP work orders and related documentation.
• Transport materials to workstations using overhead cranes.
• Cut and press materials to specification using manual and PLC-controlled saws, shear presses, and punch presses.
• Layout, drill, and punch holes per prints and specifications.
• Finish fabricated parts with grinders, deburr edges, and clean components.
• Stage parts for transfer to welding or subsequent processing steps.
• Assist welders with setup and preparation for welding operations.
• Operate spot/stud welding equipment as required.
• Complete job order documentation and maintain a clean, safe workspace.
