Job summary

Pierce Manufacturing, an Oshkosh company, is seeking a Fabricator I in Bradenton, FL to set up and operate multiple fabrication machines. You will read orders and blueprints, transfer stock, start machines, measure parts, and maintain a safe work area with a strong safety mindset.

You should have at least three months of related experience and be comfortable using measuring tools and blueprints. This position offers competitive pay, benefits from day one, and opportunities for career growth.

Qualifications

• Three months or more related experience.
• Ability to read blueprints.
• Experience with measurement devices (tape measures, calipers, micrometers).
• Experience using cutting and fabrication tools.

Responsibilities

• Read orders and blueprints for specs.
• Transfer stock to machines, may operate forklift.
• Start machine and observe operation.
• Measure work for conformance to specs.
• Follow maintenance procedures for machines.
• Maintain a safe, clean work environment.
• Demonstrate interpersonal communication skills.
• Regular attendance required.
• All other duties as assigned.
