Job description

Maintain locate and organize raw materials through all areas of the fabrication/Weld shop per schedule and bill of materials (BOM). The fabricator should possess the ability to read, and comprehend blueprints and manufacturing instructions. The ability to safely operate plasma table, band saw, brake press and blast booth.

Responsibilities

Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned.

• Read and comprehend blueprints, manufacturing instructions and Bill of Materials (BOM)
• Follow production schedule.
• Verify all correct material per BOM.
• Ability to safely operate brake press, band-saw, plasma table and blast booth.
• Ability to understand tank prep operation including pressure test and prep for paint.
• Must be able to safely operate various hand & power tools
• Read and understand tape measures variances up to 1/16 and the ability to convert to decimals .0625
• Safely operate crane and pallet jack/fork lift.
• Follow direction; maintain focus and a positive attitude.

Education and/or Experience

High school diploma or general education degree (GED);

Two plus years related experience and/or training.
