Job summary

MacLean Power Systems is hiring a Fabricator Technician in Bossier City, LA. The successful candidate will be responsible for operating and monitoring multiple pieces of equipment while ensuring quality production and minimal downtime. Fabricator Technician

Location: Bossier City, LA

Starting Hourly Rate: $18.00

What You’ll Do

• Perform necessary pre‑operation activities to ensure proper equipment startup and operation on multiple pieces of equipment.
• Operate/monitor multiple pieces of equipment during operation to ensure quality production and minimal unplanned stops.
• Read and interpret blueprints and diagrams.
• Adjust machine settings to complete tasks accurately, according to specifications in a timely manner.
• Communicate with team members and support teams to ensure continuous production of the correct product at high quality levels with minimal wasted time and materials.
• Perform housekeeping and sanitation.

What You’ll Need To Excel In This Role

• High school diploma/GED required.
• A minimum of 1 year of experience as a Machine Operator in a manufacturing environment is required.
• Must have knowledge of commonly used concepts, practices, and procedures within the Machine Shop.
• Have the ability to follow standardized work and adhere to safe work practices in a continuous improvement environment.
• Have the ability to read fabrication/welding blueprints, schematics and manuals.
• Must be able to read tape measures and other measuring devices.
• Analytical skills and high‑level attention to detail are both required.
• Ability to work within a team and independently.
• Physical stamina, strength, and ability to handle heavy equipment are required.
• Must be able to multitask.
