Join Our Team as a Fabrication Technician at FabACab!

Full-Time | Day Shift | On-Site

Location: 1600 Main Street Anderson, Indiana

As a Fabrication Technician, you will play a vital role in the production process within our fabrication shop. You’ll be responsible for turning raw materials into finished products with a high level of craftsmanship, precision, and efficiency. Your day-to-day work will be guided by a structured electronic schedule and paper work orders provided by the Fabrication Manager.

This is a hands-on, production-focused role ideal for someone who thrives in a team environment, values quality and detail, and is excited to contribute to a growing company with a strong culture.

Key Responsibilities

• Attend weekly team huddles to stay aligned with team goals and priorities.
• Participate in quarterly performance reviews with the Fabrication Manager.
• Efficiently perform fabrication processes including cutting, bending, punching, shearing, and welding.
• Represent FabACab professionally when interacting with suppliers, vendors, and shipping personnel.
• Maintain responsive communication with internal teams and vendors, adhering to a 24-hour maximum response time.
• Report any product issues promptly to the Fabrication Manager.
• Follow work prioritization as directed by the Fabrication Manager.
• Contribute to a clean, organized, and clearly labeled fabrication shop environment.
• Preassemble hardware kits, mounting brackets, and other components to support assembly readiness.
• Use software tools to track and complete fabrication tasks accurately and efficiently.
• Support additional fabrication duties as needed.
  

What We Are Looking For

• Education: High School Diploma required
• Experience: 1-year vocational or trade school welding program
• Other: Mechanical aptitude a plus
