Job summary

Trane Technologies, a world leader in climate solutions, invites you to join our on-site fabrication team in Greenville, SC. The role focuses on building and modifying equipment, improving safety, quality, and cost through practical fabrication work and problem-solving with operators.

As a safety-conscious craftsman, you will follow OSHA regulations, participate in Kaizen events, and help the operations team reach ambitious goals. Comprehensive benefits start on day one.

Qualifications

• Mechanical - ability to build NIS material part racks and skilled with basic mechanical tools used for fabrication & general mechanical repair.
• Experienced as a builder, mechanic, fabricator, welder, machinist or other related position is required.
• Experience with the use of basic fabrication equipment.
• Good use of logic in understanding and solving problems.
• Team player.
• Ability to look at problems from many angles to find simple, effective solutions.

• Ensures improvement solutions meet Trane/OSHA safety regulations and ergonomic standards.
• Supports Kaizen events comprised of multifunctional team members.

Job Summary

Fabricates tables, workstations, carts, tool stands, mistake proofing or any other devices that will help improve safety, quality and cost. Modify existing equipment to improve efficiency and effectiveness. Works with operators to turn an improvement idea into a safe, workable solution.
