Job summary

Waukesha-Pearce Industries in Oklahoma City is seeking a hands-on mechanic to assist in the mechanical assembly of industrial engines, coolers, and generators. You will help align equipment to meet packaging standards and run screwed piping for engine utilities, installing safety shut-downs and guards as required.

You will train with Class A, Journeyman, and related duties, following direction from experienced leads. This role offers exposure to inline assembly work and safety-focused tasks.

Qualifications

• 2 years of relevant mechanical experience.
• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• Equivalent education/experience may be accepted.

Responsibilities

• Assist in overhauling various compressor frames and cylinders.
• Assist in setting and aligning coolers, install vessels, run screwed piping for engine utilities, install safety shutdowns, assist in aligning engine to compressor.
• Follow daily instructions from Leaderman, Journeyman & Class A.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Job description

Run screwed piping for equipment utilities, install safety shut-downs, guards/shields as required. Training with Class A, Journeyman, etc. in above described duties.

Primary Job Responsibilities:

Qualifications

Minimum Qualifications:

• Must have 2 year(s) previous experience
• Must High School Diploma or equivalent
• An equivalent combination of education and experience may be accepted

Requirements: Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities (KSAs)

• Must have the ability to effectively operate a fork lift
• Must have the ability to effectively operate overhead cranes
