Job summary

Original Composites and Fiberglass is seeking a Fabrication Supervisor to lead our fabrication team in building tooling for the fiberglass industry. You will ensure safety, product quality, and production efficiency while delivering value to customers.

The role requires developing training plans, creating schedules, and implementing SOPs. You will report to the operations leader and may cover extended hours or weekends as needed.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Two or more years of manufacturing/fabrication experience.
• Two or more years of leadership experience.
• Skilled in TIG welding.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints.
• Strong organizational and planning skills.
• Effective written and verbal communication.
• Familiarity with Microsoft Office Suite.
• Ability to work cross-functionally and lead through influence.

Position Summary

The Fabrication Supervisor leads a fabrication team to build tooling for the fiberglass industry. This leader’s team will maintain a safe work environment, produce quality products, operate efficiently, and deliver customer value. This leader establishes clear standards and develops team capabilities through training, scheduling, communication, and performance feedback. The fabrication supervisor reports to the operations leader. This position will be assigned to first shift but is expected to be flexible with the work schedule covering extended hours and/or weekends on occasions.

• Effective written and verbal communication capabilities.
• Ability to develop and lead non-capital improvement projects from start to finish
• Familiarity with Microsoft Office Suite
• Ability to work cross-functionally and lead through influence
