Qualifications

• Good verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to listen, understand and follow directions.
• Ability to work in a variety of roles.
• Adhere to PPE Policy and Safety Programs.
• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.

Responsibilities

• Cleans and lubricates equipment, maintains a manufacturing area free from debris and dirt, and readies or puts away tools as assigned.
• Operates machinery under directions, handles materials and tools, and loads/unloads items on machinery.
• Assists with yard work by repairing and shoveling; removes snow as needed.
• Cuts steel scrap material using an oxygen acetylene torch and assists burn table operations.
• Fills in for sandblaster when needed; performs unskilled tasks in the fabrication shop.
• Reports issues to supervisor or higher-level employee.
• May perform other duties as assigned.
