Job summary

RK Industries in Denver seeks a Shop Foreman to lead fabrication operations in our busy shop. You will supervise skilled craftsmen, interpret blueprints, manage schedules, and ensure work meets codes, quality standards and customer expectations.

You will foster a safe, respectful, and productive environment, mentor employees, track labor and production data, plan workflows, and coordinate with safety and project teams to keep projects on time and within budget.

Qualifications

• Experience with MIG and stainless-steel fabrication.
• 6G certification is a plus.
• Demonstrated experience leading, supervising, or directing craft employees.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints, shop drawings, weld symbols, specifications, and job orders.
• Strong knowledge of fabrication processes, welding methods, materials, and applicable code requirements.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and coordinate daily direction to assigned craft employees.
• Plan and assign work based on production schedules, project priorities, and equipment availability.
• Establish and adjust work sequences to meet schedules.
• Review production schedules and estimate labor-hour requirements.
• Monitor productivity and operate within project budgets.
• Interpret blueprints, weld symbols, specs, and shop drawings.
• Direct fabrication and assembly of piping systems and shop-fabricated products.
• Ensure products meet project specs, codes and customer standards.
• Maintain knowledge of fabrication methods, welding processes, and materials.
• Inspect work in progress and completed assemblies for quality.
