What you will do:

  • Using the output of the Master Production Schedule (MPS), create weekly and daily production schedules to minimize inventory, maximize productivity, and enhance customer service levels.
  • Provide timely, complete, and concise communication to production personnel regarding schedule changes or revisions.
  • Ensure schedule adherence, inventory DOH, and attainment meet plant performance measures.
  • Collaborate with the Materials Manager to maintain capacity requirements supporting the master schedule.
  • Coordinate with Supplier Scheduling, Manufacturing, Quality, and Engineering to ensure timely material availability.
  • Maintain replenishment signals within the ERP system for smooth materials flow.
  • Support daily production needs, prioritize tasks, and address supply issues.
  • Maintain effective communication with all departments.
  • Support changes in Scheduling and Inventory Control processes for ERP.
  • Participate in clear-to-build meetings and adjust production schedules as needed.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

What we look for:

  • Two-year degree in an appropriate field with 1-3 years of material management experience in manufacturing, or 4-6 years of related experience without degree.
  • Mechanical and analytical skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Suite applications.
  • Extended knowledge of MRP and ERP systems (SAP preferred).
  • APICS CPIM or CSCP certification preferred.
