Job summary

Qualifications

• Effective communication skills and the ability to work with shop personnel, supervisors, and outside inspection providers.
• Ability to read and interpret fabrication drawings and written work requirements.
• Willingness to learn company-specific quality procedures and recordkeeping programs.

Responsibilities

• Perform visual and dimensional inspections of fabricated piping and components against drawings, specifications, and applicable quality requirements.
• Coordinate NDE activities with shop personnel and examination providers, including scheduling, tracking completion, and collecting reports.
• Maintain organized inspection records, weld logs, material traceability documents, and NDE reports.
• Review quality documentation for accuracy and completeness and help prepare final turnover packages.
• Identify and document quality concerns or nonconforming work, communicate findings, and track corrective actions through completion.
• Work with fabrication supervisors and the QC team to support production schedules and resolve inspection issues.
• Use Microsoft Office and internal recordkeeping programs to enter, organize, and maintain quality information.
• Follow shop safety requirements and company procedures.
