Staffmark is hiring a Quality Control Inspector in Abbeville, LA. The role focuses on inspecting fabrication and welding work to ensure conformance with customer specs and industry standards. Strong attention to detail and ability to read technical drawings are essential.

The position offers a Monday–Friday schedule, pay rate of $16.00–$19.00 per hour, and opportunities to support corrective actions and maintain thorough inspection records in a professional environment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED preferred; technical training in welding, fabrication, quality control is a plus.
• CWI, NDT, or other quality inspection certifications preferred.
• Ability to read and interpret fabrication drawings and technical specifications.
• Knowledge of welding codes (AWS, ASME, API) and inspection standards.

Responsabilités

• Inspect fabrication, welding, and materials for quality and conformance.
• Verify dimensions and procedures to meet project requirements.
• Maintain inspection records and documentation.
• Identify and report non-conformances and support corrective actions.
• Coordinate with welding and fabrication teams to address quality issues.
