Job description

About the Role

Heaven or Las Vegas is looking for an experienced Fabrication Project Manager to lead our fabrication projects from concept through completion. This is a shop-focused management position responsible for overseeing the fabrication team, coordinating production schedules, interpreting drawings and designs, and ensuring projects are completed on time, on budget, and to the highest quality standards.

The ideal candidate is someone who understands both the creative and technical sides of fabrication. You should be comfortable working directly with clients, reviewing blueprints and renderings, developing production plans, preparing proposals and estimates, and leading a fabrication team through the execution of complex custom projects.

This is not a hands-on fabricator position. Rather, you will be the person who understands how the project needs to be built, who needs to build it, what resources are required, and how to keep the project moving.

Mandatory proficiency in Adobe Creative Cloud, including Adobe Illustrator and Adobe Photoshop, is required.

What You’ll Do

  • Manage custom fabrication projects from initial scope and proposal through production, delivery, and installation.

  • Lead and coordinate the daily workflow, priorities, and schedules of the fabrication team.

  • Review blueprints, shop drawings, renderings, specifications, and project documentation to determine production requirements.

  • Develop production plans, timelines, material requirements, and labor needs.

  • Assign work and communicate project priorities and deadlines to the fabrication team.

  • Monitor project progress and ensure work meets approved designs, specifications, quality standards, and deadlines.

  • Work directly with clients to understand project needs, answer production questions, communicate updates, and help resolve issues.

  • Prepare project proposals, scopes of work, estimates, and related documentation.

  • Collaborate with project managers, designers, engineers, purchasing, vendors, shipping, and installation teams.

  • Use Adobe Creative Cloud, including Adobe Illustrator and Adobe Photoshop, to review, modify, prepare, and communicate artwork and production files.

  • Review artwork and drawings to ensure the fabrication team has accurate information needed for production.

  • Evaluate materials, finishes, hardware, and fabrication methods to determine the best approach for each project.

  • Monitor labor, material usage, project costs, and production schedules.

  • Coordinate with vendors and subcontractors when specialized materials or services are required.

  • Conduct quality-control reviews and ensure issues are resolved before projects are completed.

  • Support delivery and installation planning and assist with field-related fabrication questions or modifications.

  • Promote a safe, organized, efficient, and professional shop environment.
