Job summary

Siemens is seeking a Fabrication Production Supervisor in Pomona, CA to lead production lines, uphold safety, and drive quality and efficiency during the 2:00 PM to 12:30 AM shift. You will supervise assembly teams, manage schedules, evaluate performance, liaise between Manufacturing and Engineering, and support continuous improvement with data analysis and SAP or similar MRP tools.

This on-site role requires 2+ years supervisory manufacturing experience and a Bachelor’s degree or equivalent; US

Qualifications

• 2+ years of successful experience in an Assembly/Manufacturing with experience in Fabrication or related field in a supervisory role.
• Mechanical proficiency with experience using hand tools.
• Project Management Experience.
• Proficiency in data collection and analysis.
• Ability to interpret engineering drawings and schematics.
• Strong leadership and time management skills.
• Full understanding and application of management approaches for work direction, motivation, talent development, and performance management.
• Legally authorized to work in the United States on a continual and permanent basis without company sponsorship

Responsibilities

• Safety and Production Efficiency: Improve safety for all personnel in and around production lines.
• Lead efforts to decrease production errors, improve quality, and boost efficiency.
• Production Management: Adhere to production schedules, assign personnel to work areas, supervise progress, and resolve line constraint problems.
• Report results through shift production summaries.
• Training and Development: Conduct training programs based on production needs.
• Perform annual employee performance evaluations.
• Labor Relations: Maintain a working relationship with the local union, adhering to the collective bargaining agreement.
• Teamwork and Liaison: Act as a liaison between Manufacturing and Engineering teams.
• Support performance measurement and documentation of manufacturing processes.
• Continuous Improvement: Drive continuous improvement projects.
• Support digitalization efforts by implementing tools like Digital Work Instructions, Operator Displays, and Performance/Status Dashboards.
