Job summary

Siemens Mobility in Pomona, CA seeks a Production Supervisor for Fabrication on 2nd shift. You will lead safety, quality, schedule adherence, and line performance, coaching teams and managing shifts to deliver on-time production goals.

You will collaborate with Engineering and Manufacturing, implement Digital Work Instructions and dashboards, and drive continuous improvement while ensuring proper labor relations and adherence to union agreements.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of supervisory experience in Assembly/Manufacturing with fabrication exposure.
• Mechanical proficiency and use of hand tools.
• Project management experience and data interpretation skills.
• Strong leadership, time management, and performance management abilities.
• Authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship.

Responsibilities

• Improve safety and production efficiency on and around the lines.
• Lead efforts to reduce production errors and boost quality and efficiency.
• Manage production schedules, assign personnel, supervise progress, and resolve issues.
• Report results via shift production summaries.
• Conduct training programs and perform annual performance evaluations.
• Maintain relations with the local union and follow the collective bargaining agreement.
• Liaise between Manufacturing and Engineering teams and support digitalization efforts.
