Job summary

TerraPower is seeking a Fabrication Oversight Administrative Electrical Controls & Compliance Specialist to provide electrical controls oversight across fabrication and supplier oversight. You will verify panels, assemblies, and wiring per design, codes, and project requirements, coordinating with engineering, quality, procurement, and suppliers.

You will witness testing of PLC/HMI systems, review documentation, and support corrective actions to close nonconformances, ensuring complete

Qualifications

Technical degree in electrical engineering, electrical engineering technology, or a related field; equivalent experience may be considered.
4+ years of experience in industrial electrical fabrication, controls, or related field.
Working knowledge of UL 508A and NEC; ability to interpret electrical schematics and P&IDs.
Experience with fabrication inspections, testing, and quality verification.
Strong communication and cross-functional coordination skills.

Responsibilities

Provide electrical controls oversight for supplier fabrication activities and deliverables.
Review fabrication docs, drawings, schematics, BOMs to establish inspection criteria.
Verify installations meet approved designs, codes, and project requirements.
Coordinate with suppliers, engineering, quality, procurement, and project teams to resolve issues.
Support supplier audits, inspections, and final acceptance; document nonconformances and corrective actions.
Witness and verify tester and functional verification of PLC/HMI systems; ensure traceable documentation.
