Job summary

Westlake Pipe & Fittings is seeking a production operator to oversee all operations involved in making pipe couplings. You will work with lathe operators and fabrication teams to ensure quality and safety.

Responsibilities include operating cutting and machining equipment, inspecting parts with tape measures and gauges, and completing production and quality paperwork. The role requires reading simple instructions in English and basic computer skills.

Qualifications

• In English, read and comprehend simple instructions.
• Able to read a tape measure and perform basic arithmetic.
• Basic knowledge of computers and Microsoft Office.

Responsibilities

• Adhere to all safety policies and procedures and perform tasks safely.
• Check parts for dimensions and quality.
• Assist with procuring materials needed for production.
• Operate cutting and machining equipment to produce couplings.
• Complete production and quality paperwork accurately.
• Direct questions to Fabrication Manager or HR/Safety Manager when needed.
