Position Overview

Eaton’s ES AMER ARS PDCAD division is seeking a Fabrication Operator - 2nd Shift at our Fayetteville, NC plant. The hourly rate is $16.00, with a $1/hour increase for 2nd shift.

Shift Hours: 3:30pm - 12am, Monday - Friday

Responsibilities

• Perform fabrication tasks such as drilling, tapping, sanding, riveting, grinding, spot welding, shearing, powder painting, soldering, operating punch presses, iron worker, stab welder, and assisting in equipment upkeep.
• Assist higher-level operators and ensure timely delivery of materials and components.
• Prepare components by wiping, degreasing, deburring, or grinding.
• Operate fabrication equipment, inspect parts, adjust machinery, and maintain accurate records.
• Perform routine maintenance on equipment and report issues.

Qualifications

Required

• High school diploma or GED
• Legally authorized to work in the U.S. without sponsorship
• Reside within 50 miles of Fayetteville, NC, or be Active Duty Military

Preferred

• 1 year manufacturing experience

Skills and Criteria

• Proficiency with measuring tools (calipers, micrometers, tape measures)
• Ability to read drawings and blueprints
• Basic troubleshooting and operation of fabrication equipment
