The Fabrication Operator is responsible for safely operating fabrication equipment to manufacture products that meet customer specifications and company quality standards. This position performs machine setup, operation, inspection, packaging, and routine equipment maintenance while maintaining a safe, clean, and efficient work environment. The Fabrication Operator plays a critical role in ensuring quality, productivity, and continuous improvement throughout the manufacturing process.

The employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 40 pounds and push/pull up to 50 lbs. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision; must be able to visually identify or trouble shoot defective equipment/machinery/parts and fix/repair parts and machinery. While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to sit, stand, walk, use hands and fingers; talk and hear. Frequently required to reach, stoop, bend, squat, stretch, and twist. The employee is frequently required to stand and walk. The employee is routinely required to reach with hands and arms.?Must be able to work in, with, and near machinery and work with support equipment. Must be able to wear Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) including hearing protection, safety glasses, close-toed shoes, and gloves as needed. PPE is based on job assignments, tasks, or work areas. Must apply critical thinking to perform problem solving for complex tasks. Must have the ability to provide clear explanation on issues and resolutions.
