Job summary

ETS Staffing is seeking a Fabrication Operator for an in-person role in Essex Junction, VT. The position offers a 2nd shift, full-time schedule with a 4-day work week (Monday-Thursday) and a pay of $23.50 per hour, plus benefits.

You will load machinery, perform fabrication tasks, read blueprints, and use a variety of hand and power tools. Forklift operation and strict safety practices are required. Training is available for motivated candidates.

Qualifications

• Ability to read and interpret blueprints, schematics and work instructions.
• Skilled in the use of small hand and power tools.
• Familiarity with shop floor measuring instruments.
• Strong attention to detail and counting accuracy.
• Able to lift up to 50 lbs and stand, bend, or stoop throughout the shift.

Responsibilities

• Load machinery and assist with fabrication processes such as blending, polishing, spot welding, and shearing.
• Use measuring devices, hand tools, and power tools to complete assigned work.
• Operate a forklift to transport materials ranging in weight from 50 to 4500 pounds.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work area.

Our client is a leading manufacturer of commercial kitchen equipment, and they want you to join their team as a Fabrication Operator.

Your day-to-day as a Fabrication Operator:

• Load machinery and assist with fabrication processes such as blending, polishing, spot welding, and shearing
• Use measuring devices, hand tools, and power tools to complete assigned work
• Operate a forklift to transport materials ranging in weight from 50 to 4500 pounds
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work area
• Perform other fabrication-related duties as assigned

Your skills and experience:

• Ability to read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and work instructions
