HIRING IMMEDIATELY: FABRICATION OPERATIONS TECHNICIAN IN SUGARLAND, TX
Accurate Personnel is hiring immediately for a Fabrication Operations Technician to join our team in Sugarland, Texas. In this role, you will monitor, operate, and maintain critical facility utility systems to ensure safe, reliable, and efficient operations within a cleanroom manufacturing environment. The ideal candidate has a strong mechanical talent, experience troubleshooting facility systems, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced technical environment while following strict safety and operational procedures.
Pay, Schedule, Location
- Starting at $20 to $23/hr
- 12-hour rotating shifts (7:00 AM – 7:00 PM or 7:00 PM – 7:00 AM)
- Typically scheduled 3 – 4 shifts per week

Duties and Responsibilities
- Monitor facility utility systems using Building Automation Systems (BAS), Environmental Monitoring Systems (EMS), and local controls.
- Operate and monitor HVAC, chilled water, process cooling water (PCW), compressed dry air (CDA), nitrogen, vacuum, electrical distribution, DI water, and wastewater systems.
- Monitor system performance, identify abnormal conditions, and make routine operational adjustments.
- Respond to equipment alarms and system failures by performing first-level troubleshooting and escalating issues when necessary.
- Assist with equipment repairs, system startups, shutdowns, and commissioning activities.
- Follow all safety policies, including lockout/tagout (LOTO) procedures and cleanroom protocols.
- Maintain accurate maintenance records, operational logs, and shift reports.
- Support continuous improvement initiatives and maintain a clean, safe work environment.
- Perform additional duties as assigned.
Requirements and Qualifications
- Associate degree, technical diploma, military technical training, or equivalent experience in Mechanical, Electrical, HVAC, Industrial Maintenance, or a related field.
- At least 1 year of experience in facilities operations, industrial maintenance, semiconductor manufacturing, or a similar technical environment.
- Basic knowledge of mechanical, electrical, HVAC, and facility utility systems.
- Ability to troubleshoot equipment and read equipment drawings, P&IDs, and operating procedures.
- Basic computer skills and experience with maintenance management or monitoring systems.
- Experience in cleanroom, semiconductor, photonics, or other high-tech manufacturing environments preferred.
