Wanco Inc. is seeking a Fabrication Manager to lead our fabrication operations, including welding, cutting, forming, blasting, and related processes. You will drive safety, productivity, and quality while developing people and improving systems across shifts.

The ideal candidate brings 5+ years of leadership in manufacturing, strong knowledge of welding, lean manufacturing, and ERP/MRP experience, with a focus on cost management and continuous improvement.

Formación

• 5+ years of progressive leadership in manufacturing/fabrication.
• Experience reading engineering drawings, specifications, and manufacturing documentation.
• Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills with root‑cause analysis experience.
• Knowledge of Lean Manufacturing principles including 5S, visual management, and continuous improvement.
• Effective communication and leadership across departments.
• Knowledge of welding quality standards (AWS D1.1/D9.1 familiarity).
• TPM (Total Productive Maintenance) experience.
• Experience with ISO 9001 quality systems.
• ERP/MRP systems experience.
• Budget planning and cost management experience.

Responsabilidades

• Lead, coach, and develop supervision, leads, and fabrication personnel.
• Direct daily fabrication operations to meet schedules, quality standards, and customer commitments.
• Implement Lean & continuous improvement initiatives across the department.
• Champion a zero-incident safety culture and ensure safety compliance.
• Collaborate with Engineering, Quality, Supply Chain, and Finance.
• Manage capacity planning, capital projects, and equipment improvements.
• Maintain inventory accuracy and ERP/MRP transaction management.
• Communicate department results and risks to leadership.
