Mako Recruiting LLC is seeking a hands-on General Manager for a metal fabrication company in Johnstown, PA. You will lead daily operations spanning production, engineering, scheduling, quality, maintenance, purchasing, and inventory.

The role requires strategic leadership, cost control, and the ability to develop people, improve throughput, and meet customer delivery and safety standards. You will drive profitability and growth while fostering a culture of accountability.

Formación

Five or more years of progressive leadership experience in manufacturing or metal fabrication.
Experience managing production, supervisors, and multiple manufacturing departments.
Strong understanding of metal fabrication processes, including laser cutting, tube cutting, press brake forming, rod bending, and welding.
Experience with production scheduling, capacity planning, labor management, and workflow optimization.

Responsabilidades

Oversee daily operations across production, engineering, scheduling, quality, maintenance, purchasing, inventory, and personnel management.
Lead production planning, scheduling, and labor optimization to meet customer demand.
Monitor costs, margins, and budgeting; drive profitability and cost control.
Develop leaders, succession planning, and staffing across departments.
Ensure quality, safety, and regulatory compliance; implement continuous improvement.
Drive KPI tracking, lean initiatives, and performance reviews.
