Job summary

JobAdder Operations Pty is hiring a Material Handler for fabrication on site in Addison, IL. You will ensure critical materials such as sheet metal and copper arrive, are counted, labeled, and staged to keep production schedules on track.

Applicants should have a high school diploma or GED, plus experience with material handling, forklifts, and inventory software. You will work with production, procurement, and QA teams, with PPE provided and a safety-first environment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Experience picking, kitting, or handling materials for custom products.
• Familiarity with forklifts and powered industrial trucks.
• Proficiency with inventory management software and basic computer skills.
• Strong attention to detail, manual dexterity, and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Receive and unload sheet metal and copper from trucks, verifying delivery documents.
• Kit and deliver raw materials to the correct work centers.
• Store materials safely and document movement to prevent loss.
• Maintain inventory accuracy with routine counts and discrepancy flags.
• Work with procurement to keep stock replenished and reduce delays.
• Operate forklifts and pallet jacks safely and keep equipment ready for production.
• Keep work areas clean and organized; remove scrap as needed.
• Complete work orders and inventory tracking documentation accurately.
• Share issues and improvement ideas with supervisors and QA.
