Responsibilities

  • All material movements (issues, receipts and transfers) must have a corresponding inventory transaction.
  • Receive parts into work cell assembly material storage, verify quantities and check for damage.
  • Ensure parts are labeled and identified in inventory storage and material carts.
  • Maintain inventory accuracy in SAP and in the work cell storage area.
  • Perform weekly/monthly inventory cycle counts.
  • Create material requests to replenish storage and supply assembly needs.
  • Package and replenish materials for assembly to work cell team.
  • Enter inventory transactions into the computer (manual or scanner).
  • Stage jobs to reduce queue time, processing time, and idle time.
  • Ensure material kits are traceable and coordinate discrepancies with warehouse staff.

The Gill Corporation is one of the world\'s largest manufacturers of honeycomb, high performance floor panels, cargo compartment liners and original equipment for passenger and freighter aircraft. The company also excels in many other types of reinforced plastics including interior sandwich panels for creating structures such as aircraft galleys and bulkheads, honeycomb core and related products.


The Material Replenishment Coordinator (MRC) strategically provides all materials via material cart to work cell team in partnership with the Production Lead and/or Fabrication Supervisor. In addition, coordinates similar assembly and identifies operations to minimize waste and increase productivity. Key role in ensuring work cell model is flowing smoothly. Ability to successfully work with Operations Engineering and quality representatives to drive continuous improvement; identify root causes and corrective action, and; participate in change management. To be successful in this role, the employee must have the ability to communicate, motivate, and drive the work cell team. Accountability for work cell assembly material storage area.


Responsibilities:


  • All material movements (issues, receipts and transfers) must have a corresponding inventory transaction.

  • Receive parts into work cell assembly material storage, verify quantities being received, and that there is no visible damage to parts.

  • Ensure all parts/products are labeled and identified in the work cell assembly material storage area and work cell material carts.

  • Maintain inventory accuracy in SAP and for work cell assembly material storage area.

  • Perform weekly/monthly inventory cycle counts.

  • Create material requests to replenish work cell assembly material storage.

  • Package, strategically replenish, and provide materials necessary for assembly to work cell team.

  • Ability to identify inventory related information on computer

  • Issues, receives and transfers materials to and from other buildings and coordinate discrepancy resolutions with warehouse staff and/or other depts.

  • Enters inventory transaction into computer (manual or through scanner) for all issue, receipt and transfer material movements.

  • Actively stages jobs to reduce queue time, processing time, and idle time.

  • Review and ensure material kits are traceable.

  • Must be available to work over-time and weekends.

  • Other essential duties may be assigned.


Qualifications:


  • Must have a high school diploma, GED or equivalency

  • Must have English reading and verbal communication skills sufficient to read, understand and communicate the company operating procedures and policies.

  • High School level math skills and knowledge is a must.

  • Company ERP system – as required.

  • Basic PC skills

  • Able to perform fabrication specialist duties.

  • Must be able to lift, push & pull a minimum of 50 lbs.
