Job summary

Cemen Tech Inc. in Indianola, IA seeks a full-time technician for fabrication of steel components. You will weld, read blueprints, and assemble truck and body components, using MIG/Pulse processes while following safety and quality procedures.

Qualifications

Must pass a preliminary weld test.
1–2 years' experience welding, cutting, and/or fabricating metal parts.
Experience in wire feed welding, MIG or TIG welding.
Knowledge of overhead crane and forklift operation.
Ability to read blueprints and welding symbols.

Responsibilities

Welds using MIG/Pulse processes.
Operate a sander and grinder.
Read blueprints and diagrams to determine dimensions and tolerances.
Install truck and body components onto chassis using torch, welder, winches, and hand tools.
Perform re-work as required.
Provide quality workmanship and meet time standards.
Follow safety and quality procedures.
Team-based with flexibility to move between jobs.
