Job summary

Averro is seeking a hands-on Fabrication Operations Manager in Tukwila, WA. You will lead fabricators and welders, actively participate in fabrication and welding, and drive continuous improvement.

You will develop standards and procedures, collaborate with Planning and Engineering to optimize production, and promote a safe workplace. AWS welding certifications and strong MIG/TIG expertise are required.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of fabrication experience with demonstrated expertise in MIG and TIG welding of steel and aluminum.
• 3+ years of manufacturing leadership or supervisory experience with proven ability to lead, develop, and hold teams accountable.
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of relevant education and leadership experience

Responsibilities

• Lead fabrication operations as a hands-on manager, supervising fabricators and welders.
• Develop standards, procedures, and best practices for fabrication and welding.
• Collaborate with Production Planning and Engineering to optimize schedules and reduce costs.
• Promote a safe work environment and enforce safety policies.
