Job summary

Qualifications

• Legible handwriting is required.
• Demonstrated math and blueprint reading ability.
• Ability to operate punch and brake presses by setting glides and making ram adjustments.
• Ability to follow written instructions accurately.
• Complete training in measuring instruments, gauges and test equipment.
• Training in reading and understanding blueprint specifications.
• Demonstrate above average mechanical aptitude.
• Good understanding of decimals and fractions.
• Ability to work well with others and be a team player.
• Must have good written and oral communication skills.
• Ability to lift heavy objects frequently.
• Job requires walking, standing, stooping and bending 100% of the time.

Responsibilities

• Operate various fabrication machines to produce finished products.
• Examine blueprints and work orders to ensure customer specifications are met.
• Perform in-process inspections for order accuracy and quality standards.
• Maintain documentation and production reporting.
• Follow safety rules and keep the work area clean and organized.
• Provide feedback on material needs and production scheduling as required.
• Complete paperwork and documentation as required.
