Job summary

SPX Technologies seeks a Machine Operator I to operate fabricating equipment and support production on a new campus facility. You will set up machines, read blueprints, inspect parts, and ensure quality while following safety procedures and schedules.

The role requires ability to lift, stand for long periods, and perform physical tasks as described in the job posting. Onsite work with standard manufacturing shifts is expected.

Qualifications

• 1 year experience in a manufacturing environment
• 1 year experience operating fabricating machinery
• Read a tape measure and ruler and convert fractions to decimals and decimals to fractions

Responsibilities

• Sets-up and operates machine in accordance with established procedures and guidelines
• Cuts and inspects parts for accuracy, places correct stickers on parts and sorts
• Correctly interpret blueprints and engineering drawings
• Safely and effectively use hand tools, measuring tape, and machinery
• Inspects finished products
