Job summary

allG Fabrication in Dallas/Fort Worth area seeks a full-time machine operator to support the manufacturing department. You will set up machines, operate CNC lathes and presses, perform tests, and maintain equipment.

Candidates should have a high school diploma or GED, 1–2 years in fabrication and manufacturing, ability to pass a background check and drug screen, and willingness to work 40+ hours on day shift in Argyle, TX.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• 1–2 years operating machinery, welding, torch.
• 1–2 years fabrication experience.
• 1–2 years experience in the manufacturing industry.
• Pass a criminal background check & drug screen.

Responsibilities

• Set up machines at the beginning of shift to ensure proper working order.
• Perform testing procedures to ensure machines work optimally during production.
• Maintain and clean machines before and after each shift.
• Feed information on speed, shapes, and sizes through the machine setup box.
• Place parts in semi-automated machines.
• Calibrate machines at the beginning of each shift.
• Re-calibrate machines at the end of each shift.
• Monitor machines during procedures to ensure optimum running.
• Troubleshoot problems during machine operation.
• Ensure regular and preventative maintenance procedures are carried out.
• Perform random tests to ensure accuracy.
• Perform safety checks on every machine.
• Ensure machines produce quality products by periodic checks on output.
• Ensure stocks of needed materials are ready and available.
• Create and maintain activity logs.
• Provide progress information to supervisors.
