Job summary

Tulane University Translational Science Institute is seeking a Fabrication Labs Specialist to coordinate daily operations of the Digital Fabrication Labs. This role includes managing staffing, supporting students and faculty with lab equipment, and ensuring operational efficiency.

The ideal candidate will have at least a Bachelor's Degree related to digital fabrication with 2 years of experience or a High School diploma and significant operations management experience. Skills in Rhinoceros and Adobe Creative Suite are essential.

This role may involve teaching and advising in relation to fabrication resources and curricula integration.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of experience in a digital fabrication/makerspace environment.
• Experience operating Potterbots or other ceramic 3D printers.
• CPR and First Aid certified.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate daily operations of the Digital Fabrication Labs.
• Manage staffing and supervise students and faculty.
• Advocate for the incorporation of fabrication into curricula.
