POSITION SUMMARY

The Fittings Coordinator is responsible for maintaining inventory of fittings and pulling fittings for orders to supply material handler through data lookup. Required to cross‑train across company departments based on business needs.

PRINCIPAL JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

• Pull fittings for order to go to prep inspection shelves
• Maintain and check inventory
• Use math to calculate cut‑length
• Review orders
• Reconcile computer inventory with actual
• Return job to Planning if necessary & get account of current inventory
• React to change productively and handle other essential tasks as assigned
• Escalate discrepancies to Planning Department
• Safeguard & ensure proper material to order
• Enforce discipline when people ask for more fittings without approval

QUALIFICATIONS

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Ability to understand and follow English instructions.
• Knowledge of using measuring instruments.
• Knowledge of fittings.
• Manufacturing experience preferred, but not required.

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS

• Must be able to work a minimum of 40 hours per week.
• Must be able to bend, squat, twist and kneel.
• Ability to use hand and power tools.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
