Job summary

Atlas Molded Products in Byron Center, MI is seeking a Fabrication Machine Operator to safely run and maintain production equipment, inspect parts, and ensure quality standards throughout the shift. You will operate wire cutting and CNC machines, assist with setup, record in-process data, and uphold a clean, organized work area while following safety procedures and Continuous Improvement initiatives.

Experience in manufacturing, basic math, and good attendance are required; high school diploma

Qualifications

• Prior experience in a manufacturing/industrial environment.
• Ability to perform basic math and use hand-held measuring tools.
• Commitment to safety standards and quality procedures.

Responsibilities

• Inspect and package parts according to specification pages and record information.
• Operate and maintain machinery such as wire cutting, CNC cutting, conveyors, and wrapping equipment.
• Verify equipment setup and ensure continuous operations throughout the shift.
• Maintain productivity standards and verify final product specifications (density, weight, size, shape).
• Keep the work area clean and organized and participate in safety/quality initiatives.
• Assist with recycling processes such as Pre-breakers / Re-Grinding of EPS.
• Possess reliable attendance and perform other assigned duties.
