Job summary

360X Staffing is seeking a Project Manager for Fabrication & Automation in Minneapolis, MN. This on-site role oversees complex technical projects from entry to shipment, managing schedules, budgets, procurement, and acting as the primary contact for clients, vendors, and internal teams.

The position requires a Bachelor's in Engineering and 1–3 years PM experience in manufacturing or utilities, with knowledge of PLCs/HMIs and control panel construction.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering or related technical field.
• 1–3 years of project management experience in utilities, manufacturing, or industrial sector.
• Working knowledge of PLCs, HMIs, industrial networking, and control panel construction; experience with Rockwell, Siemens, Emerson is valued.

Responsibilities

• Project Execution & Tracking: Manage multiple projects, develop schedules, monitor budgets and labor, handle change orders.
• Customer Relations: Primary client liaison, provide status updates, review specs, coordinate on-site FATs.
• Procurement & Supply Chain: Source components, request quotes/lead times, manage vendors, mitigate long-lead risks.
• Production Coordination: Collaborate with shop/engineering, review BOMs, prioritize workflows, resolve part availability.
• Technical Oversight: Apply knowledge of PLCs/HMIs/UL 508A to meet industry standards.
